What is something your group thinks about "Love" that I didn't ask you about (in other words, not an answer to one of the questions)?

  1. unrequited love.

    Azar is a dick.

Jimmy said not to mention it and Tim put it in the book anyways.

they are talking about how the war is day by day like it is the weather.

  2. The purpose of "love" is showing that he never lost feelings for even tho she never loved him, and his "love" just gave him something to do think about in war, when it wasn't real. The quote "well, i did- I burned it. After Lavender died, I couldn't...This is a new one. Martha gave it to me herself" this quote proves that it wasn't really "love" and just a way of passing time because if it was really love he wouldn't of burned the picture, he was in love with the distraction of war.

The purpose of "spin" is ways the men distracted from reality, whether it was good things, or bad things. The quote "what's everybody so upset about? "I mean, Christ, I'm just a boy" proves that the boys were immature and did stupid things good or bad to past time, and get their mind off reality.

The group thinks that "love" is about after feelings of war and the effect on them

The group thinks that "spin" is about distractions from the war and all of the things they did and compared to war.
