Friday, April 12 Agenda


  • Bell Ringer: Read 107-end
  • Final Journal Entry (All journals will be collected end of today or Monday)
    • 3-11, 11-20, 20-28, 29-34, 34-46, 47-54, 54-65, 66-77, 77-84, 85-97, 98-107, 107-end
  • Essay test Monday
    • Throughout the novel Night, Elie explains his relationship with his faith.  Using examples from the book, explain how Elie’s faith changes due to his experiences during this time.
    • How does the book Night help us to better understand the importance of relationships? What are the different types of relationships seen in the book and how do they affect people?
    • Throughout the novel, the inmates of the camp experience dehumanization.  Using pieces of textual evidence, demonstrate the effects of dehumanization on an individual or individual
  • Outline check –I checked outlines during 2nd block: READ MY COMMENTS -if you’ve added more since I checked, call me over
    • Make sure outline is complete (WITH TEXTUAL EVIDENCE)
    • Do the intro and conclusion section of the outline -consult Google Classroom Writing a Lead resource for attention getter
    • You need an outline on its own sheet of paper that follows the format exactly (labelled correctly, etc.)
    • Make sure you show me/Ms. B a COMPLETE OUTLINE before you move on to working on your research
  • When you are done fixing your outline, work on your Research, organize/catch up on journals, or read your independent book
