• Bell Ringer:  Independent Reading Time (make sure you’ve read through page 30 in OMM)
• OMM Section 1 Quiz
• When done with quiz, work on your research notes
• Career Research
• Take out your sheets from Of Mice and Men: Read rest of 2 (31-37)
• Chronolog (Character details on back), theme examples
• Journal from the perspective of Lennie or George: already wrote one on the first 16 pages, now write another about thoughts, feelings and reactions of either character to section 2 (17-37)
• –Make sure you cover ALL THE BIG POINTS from the section.  Be that character (use the word I, can be same or different from first entry)
• Share most important detail from perspective journal, section 2
• Specific themes to talk about (make sure you have some details from today’s reading (or earlier) in these categories): Importance of Relationships, American Dream, Innocence, Loneliness
• Post an example in one big idea post on my blog (It CANNOT be a repeat!!!!!!!!!)
• Read through everyone’s posts on the big ideas, then turn off your computer and read your independent book
